What is Smoloween?
Smoloween is the latest on-chain point & click survival social coordination strategy game from Smolverse to celebrate the spooky season!
1000 Smols in Canopy City have been invited to a Smoloween costume party that's hosted by The Wicked Witch. At the start of the party, the Witch casts a spell at a few of the Smols in the crowd which turns them into Ghouls! Well, that’s an unexpected development at a normal Smoloween party. Seems like it's time to run and hide? EEEEEEEEEE!
As a Smol, avoid getting turned into a ghoul by the Wicked Witch and Ghouls for as long as you can to win the spookiest soulbound Smol skin prizes once the game ends!
If you end up joining the ranks of the Ghouls, don’t fret - top the leaderboards by turning the most Smols into ghouls and you may win a special soulbound Smol skin as well 👻

You'll start the game as a Smol with 5 sidekicks and a randomly generated costume. The goal is to avoid being turned into a Ghoul by the Wicked Witch or other Ghouls. Send your sidekicks to copy the Witch's costume traits to increase your chances of survival.
If you have turned into a Ghoul, your goal is to hunt the surviving Smols and turn as many of them into Ghouls as possible through Social coordination in the 🐺┃ghoul-chat Discord channel. Plan your attacks with other Ghouls!
Special edition Smoloween custom soulbound skins will be awarded to the surviving Smols at the end of the game and the Ghouls that turned the most Smols into Ghouls.
All those that participate in Smoloween will get a special Ghost soulbound skin reward.
Character Guide
The Witch
The Witch is the main antagonist of the game and her evil goal is to turn all Smols into Ghouls. Every day when the clock strikes midnight, the Witch randomly picks 30 Smols to turn into Ghouls.
The witch loves the way she looks and every new day after the timer rests, she'll change her outfit. If a Smol looks exactly like her, the chances of surviving are higher!
Smol
Players will start the game as a Smol with the goal of surviving till the end without being turned into a Ghoul.
Smols will be wearing a fancy new Smoloween costume! Each Smol is assigned a random costume trait for their face, smile, hat, item, and background and selected from a set of 10 available options for each trait!
Every part of a Smol's costume that matches the Witch’s adds a 20% chance of avoiding ghoulification. If a Smol matches 4 costume elements, they've got an 80% chance of staying Smol.
Every new day when the timer resets, Smols will want to copy costumes from other Smols using their sidekicks to give themselves the best shot at surviving. Smols will also want to consider keeping some sidekicks at home to defend against Ghoul attacks.
Smols get 1 point every time they survive a night without being turned which tallies up on the leaderboards!
Sidekick
Each Smol starts with 5 trusty little Smol Sidekicks that help them mill around the party and copy other Smol's costumes.
Sidekicks that haven’t been sent to copy costumes, plus any sidekicks sent by the other competing Smols will count as defenders against the Ghoul attacks. Smols are immune from Ghoul attacks if there are fewer or equal sidekicks defending them to the Ghouls attacking them.
Every 3 days, each Smol is rewarded with 1 sidekick if they haven't turned into a ghoul. Sidekicks have a 50% chance of copying a costume and Smols will be able to send extra Sidekicks to increase the chances of a successful copy. Sidekicks can only be used once per day to copy other Smol's costumes!
Ghoul
Once a Smol is turned into a Ghoul by the Witch or other Ghouls, they become the hunters in the Smoloween game with the goal of turning as many Smols into Ghouls as possible. They also lose their trusty little Smol Sidekicks.
Every new day when the timer resets, Ghouls will look through all the remaining Smols and pick one to attack. Your attacks work just like the Witch, so pick those tasteless Smols that don’t have any sense of the Witch's fashion for the most success.
Work with other Ghouls by talking in the #🎃┃haunted-chat Discord channel to attack a Smol every midnight on a new day! If there are more Ghouls attacking that Smol than sidekicks defending, that Smol may be turned into a Ghoul.
Ghouls will get one point every time they turn a Smol into a Ghoul which tallies up on the leaderboards!
Game Registration
Step 1: Register and join the game queue
The Smoloween game is open to all and there's a player cap of 1000.
Head to https://smoloween.smolverse.lol/ and join the game queue by clicking on the "Connect wallet" button and then clicking "Sign up".
Go through the Metamask transaction to mint a Smol soulbound token that gives you access to the game (only 1 per wallet allowed).
Step 2: Access the Smoloween Gated Discord Channel(s)
After successfully registering for the game and minting your Smol soulbound token, you'll be able to grab the smololoween Smol role on the Smolverse Discord to access the #🧛┃smol-chat gated channel to talk with other fellow Smoloweenooors.
If your Smol is turned into a Ghoul, you'll mint a Ghoul soulbound token which allows you to grab the smololoween Ghoul role to access the gated #🎃┃haunted-chat Discord channel reserved for Ghouls that can be used for social coordination to hunt Smols.
Step 3: Wait for the game to start
There'll be a 4-day signup period to give everyone a chance to register. The official start of the game will be on October 24 and will last for 2 weeks. Once the game starts, you'll be notified via Discord!
Smol Gameplay
Step 1: Check the traits and reset timer
You'll get a randomly generated name.
If your Smol has any matching traits to the Witch, you'll see a green checkmark on the Witch trait section which will show you what trait to copy that day.
Also, check the timer on the bottom right to see the time left for that game day. The Witch and Ghouls will strike every new day.
Step 2: Send your Sidekicks to Copy Traits
In the bottom middle section, you'll see the number of Sidekicks you have and also the sidekicks others have sent to copy your traits. Use this information to formulate your offense and defense strategy!
Click on the "Find Smol to Copy Trait" button and send your sidekicks to copy traits from other Smols. You'll be able to send multiple sidekicks to copy one Smol which will increase your chances of a successful copy.
Step 3: Check your results
Check your results at the start of each new day to see whether you successfully copied traits or got turned into a Ghoul.
Every day that you survive as a Smol will give you one point that'll be added to the leaderboards. Clicking on the "Leaderboard" button in the Smoloween Stats section to see your ranking and total points collected.
Click on the Twitter button to share that you survived the day!
Ghoul Gameplay
Step 1: Access the Gated Discord Channel for Ghouls
After being turned into a Ghoul, you'll mint a Ghoul soulbound token which will allow you to grab the smololoween Ghoul role that'll give you access to the Ghoul-only #🎃┃haunted-chat to socially coordinate and plan your attacks against the surviving Smols!
Step 2: Attack a Smol
At the start of each new day, you'll be able to select a surviving Smol to attack and hopefully turn them into a Ghoul.
Click on the "Attack a Smol" button to initiate and select the Smol you'd like to target! You'll also be able to download your Ghoul PFP to be used to rep Smoloween on Twitter or Discord.
Step 3: Check your results
Check your results at the start of each new day to see whether you successfully turned a Smol into a Ghoul.
You will get one point every time you turn a Smol into a Ghoul which tallies up on the leaderboards! Click on the "Leaderboard" button in the Smoloween Stats section to see your ranking and total points collected.

Prize Claim Instructions
Step 1: Unstake your Smol & head to https://www.smolverse.lol/skins
You will have 3 weeks to claim before the window closes on Dec.13, 2022 at 11:59pm EST.
After unstaking your Smol Brain, click into smolverse.lol/skins and you'll be presented with the Smoloween tokenbound skin prizes claim page!
Note: Winners of a Smoloween skin who don't own a Smol Brains NFT will need to purchase a Smol Brain on Trove marketplace to take advantage of your special edition Smoloween skin!
Step 2: Select a Smol
Select the Smol that'll be tokenbound to the Smoloween Skin!
Step 3: Select a Skin
Select the Smoloween skin you'd like to bind to your selected Smol. Only skins that you've won will be available for selection. Note: Once the skin is tokenbound to your Smol, it can't be decoupled.
Step 4: Approve
Click on "Approve" and complete the transaction to tokenbind the selected Smoloween skin to your Smol! After tokenbinding your costume skin to your Smol, you'll be able to view it on Trove!
