A festive social coordination game to spread the holiday cheer 🎄
What is Smolidays?
Smolidays is the latest on-chain social coordination strategy game from Smolverse to celebrate the holiday season!
Santa’s elves have been poached by an EEEEEcommerce company and Santa doesn’t know how he’s going to make Christmas happen this year. Hearing this, the Smols embark on an expedition to the North Pole with presents to help Santa in his workshop, Hooray!
But saving Christmas is not so easy, it appears there is a Grinch roaming the North Pole stealing presents and turning Smols into Scrooges. The Grinch is trying to compile his own set of presents as he was denied presents by his strict parents as a child.
Presents are represented as accessories on the Smol's face, smile, hat, item, and background and there will be a set of 10 available options for each present category.
The only way the Smols can avoid being captured by the Grinch and turned into a Scrooge is by copying the presents that the Grinch is wearing every new day!
As a Smol, avoid getting turned into a Scrooge by the Grinch and Scrooges for as long as you can to win the most festive tokenbound skin prizes once the game ends.
If you were turned into a Scrooge, your goal is to convert as many Smols into Scrooges as possible through social coordination in the Smoliday Discord channels!
Smoliday Game TLDR:
Smolidays has a player cap of 1000 and is open to all.
You'll start the game as a Smol wearing a randomly generated set of presents and with 3 elves as sidekicks. The goal is to avoid being turned into a scrooge by the evil Grinch and Scrooges. Send your elves to copy the Grinch's presents to increase your chances of survival.
Presents are represented as accessories on the Smol's face, smile, hat, item, and background and there will be a set of 10 available options for each present category.
If you got turned into a Scrooge, your goal is to convert as many Smols into Scrooges as possible through Social coordination in the gated #scrooge-chat Discord channel. Plan your attacks with other scrooges!
Qualifying participants will be able to free claim one of the 2 participation trait prize options: A Santa Hat or Reindeer Antlers that can be accessorized on their Smol!

Character Guide
The Grinch
The Grinch is the main antagonist of the game and his evil goal is to turn all Smols into Scrooges and ruin Christmas. Every night, the Grinch randomly picks 6% of the surviving Smols to turn into Scrooges.
The Grinch loves the presents he's wearing and every new day after the timer rests, he'll change the set of presents he has on. If a Smol can copy the same presents from other Smols, the chances of surviving are higher!
Smol
Players will start the game as a Smol with the goal of surviving till the end without being turned into a Scrooge.
Fashion has entered the Smolverse in a big way, so presents are represented as accessories on the Smol's face, smile, hat, item, and background! There will be a set of 10 available options for each present and each Smol will be assigned a random set of presents every new day after the timer resets.
Every part of a Smol's batch of presents that matches the Grinch’s adds a 20% chance of avoiding being turned into a Scrooge. If a Smol matches 4 present traits from the Grinch, they've got an 80% chance of staying Smol.
Every new day when the timer resets, Smols will want to copy presents from other Smols using their elves to give themselves the best shot at surviving. Smols will also want to consider keeping some elves at home to defend against Scrooge attacks.
Smols will be awarded 1 point for every present successfully copied.
Elves
Each Smol starts with 3 trusty little Smol Elves that help them mill around the shop and copy the presents of other Smols.
Elves that haven’t been sent to copy presents, plus any elves sent by the other competing Smols will count as defenders against the Scrooge attacks. Smols are immune from Scrooge attacks if there are equal or higher number of elves defending them than the number of Scrooges attacking them.
Every 2 days, each Smol is awarded 1 additional elf if they haven't turned into a Scrooge. Elves have a 50% chance of copying presents from other Smols. Smols will be able to send extra Elves to increase the chances of a successful copy. Elves can only be used once per day to copy other Smol's presents!
Scrooge
Once a Smol is turned into a Scrooge by the Grinch or other Scrooges, they become the hunters in the Smoliday game with the goal of turning as many Smols into Scrooges as possible. They also lose their trusty little Smol Elves.
Every new day when the timer resets, Scrooges will look through all the remaining Smols and pick one to attack. Your attacks work just like the Grinch, so pick those oblivious Smols that aren’t paying attention to the Grinch’s presents.
Work with other Scrooges by talking in the #scrooge-chat Discord channel to attack a Smol every midnight on a new day! If there are more Scrooges attacking a Smol than Elves defending, that Smol may be turned into a Scrooges.
Scrooges will get 3 points every time they turn a Smol into a Scrooge!
Game Registration
Step 1: Register and join the game queue
The Smoliday game has a player cap of 1000 and is open to all! Sign up before it gets filled out!
Head to https://smolidays.smolverse.lol/ and join the game queue by clicking on the "Sign Up" button and then going through the Metamask transaction to mint a Smol soulbound token that gives you access to the game (limited to 1 per wallet).
Step 2: Access the Smoliday Gated Discord Channel(s)
After successfully registering for the game and minting your game access token, head over to the Smolverse Discord and go to the #✅┃collabland-join channel to grab the Smoliday Smol role to access the gated Smolidays channels to talk with other fellow Smoliday Smols.
If your Smol is turned into a Scrooge, you'll automatically gain the Smoliday Scrooge role to access the gated #scrooge-chat Discord channel reserved for Scrooges that can be used for social coordination to turn Smols into Scrooges.
Step 3: Join the Alphabot raffle to qualify for a free participation gift
In order to qualify for a free participation gift, you'll need to enter the Smoliday Alphabot raffle after getting your Smoliday Discord role. You will have until (insert time) to register for Smolidays and enter the raffle.
Step 4: Wait for the game to start
You will have until 8:00pm EST on Dec.21 to register for the Smoliday game and enter the Alphabot raffle to qualify for the participation gift. The game will last for 7 days and once it starts, you'll be notified via Discord so make sure to stay tuned to the announcements channel!
Smol Gameplay
Step 1: Check the presents and reset timer
You'll be assigned a randomly generated name.
If your Smol has any matching presents to the Grinch, you'll see a green checkmark on the Grinch presents section! That section will also show you what presents to copy that day.
Also, check the timer on the bottom right to see the time left for the game day and the remaining time for Smolidays. The Grinch and Scrooges will strike every new day.
Step 2: Send your Elves to copy presents
In the bottom middle section, you'll see the number of elves you have and also the elves other Smols have sent to copy your presents. Use this information to formulate your offense and defense strategy!
First, click on the "Find Smol to Copy Trait" button then enter the ID of the Smol you want to copy and send your sidekicks to copy the presents from the fellow Smol. You'll be able to send multiple sidekicks to copy one Smol which will increase your chances of a successful copy!
Step 3: Check your results
Check your results at the start of each new day to see whether you successfully copied presents or got turned into a Scrooge.
Every successful present copy will give you 1 point that'll be added to the leaderboards. Click on the "Leaderboard" button in the Smoliday stats section to see your ranking and total points collected.
Scrooge Gameplay
Step 1: Access the Gated Discord Channel for Scrooges
After being turned into a Scrooge, you'll automatically get the Smoliday Scrooge role that'll give you access to the #scrooge-chat Discord channel to socially coordinate and plan your attacks against the surviving Smols!
Step 2: Attack a Smol
At the start of each new day, you'll be able to select a surviving Smol to attack and hopefully turn them into a Scrooge.
Click on the "Attack Smol" button to initiate and select the Smol you'd like to target! You'll also be able to download your Scrooge PFP to rep on Twitter and Discord.
You will be awarded 3 points every time you successfully turn a Smol into a Scrooge!
Step 3: Check your results
Check your results at the start of each new day to see whether you successfully turned a Smol into a Scrooge.
You will get 3 points every time you successfully turn a Smol into a Scrooge which tallies up on the leaderboards! Click on the "Leaderboard" button in the Smoliday stats section to see your ranking and total points collected.
Smoliday Gifts
There'll be a selection of special edition festive Smol tokenbound gifts for Smols & Scrooges at the end of the game!

Gift Claim Instructions
Make sure to unstake your Smol Brain before claiming your festive traits!
Step 1: Unstake your Smol & head to https://www.smolverse.lol/skins
After unstaking your Smol Brain, click into smolverse.lol/skins and you'll be presented with the Smolidays tokenbound trait gift claim page!
Note: Winners of a gift who don't own a Smol Brains NFT will need to purchase a Smol Brain on Trove marketplace to take advantage of your special edition Smoloween skin!
Step 2: Select a Smol
Select the Smol that'll be tokenbound to the limited edition festive traits!
Step 3: Select the available traits
Select the traits you'd like to bind to your selected Smol. Multiple transactions will be needed if you are claiming more than 1 trait.
Note: Once the skin is tokenbound to your Smol, it can't be decoupled.
Step 4: Preview & Claim
Click on "Preview" and complete the transaction to tokenbind the selected Smoliday trait gifts to your Smol! After tokenbinding to your Smol, you'll be able to view it on Trove!
